2 tablespoons butter for gravy
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour for thickening gravy
2 cups beef broth for gravy base
1 cup heavy cream for creamy texture
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, beaten egg, onion powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, then shape into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the meatballs in batches, cooking until browned on all sides and cooked through, approximately 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of flour to the drippings and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes to create a roux. Gradually pour in the beef broth while whisking to avoid lumps.

Return the meatballs to the skillet and coat them in the creamy gravy. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to heat through and meld the flavors.
