Ingredients
  

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups uncooked twisted pasta (like fusilli or cavatappi)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 cup baby spinach (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Extra Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the twisted pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

      Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

        Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

          Add Cream and Cheese: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, creating a creamy sauce. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed. If using, add the baby spinach and stir until wilted.

            Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained twisted pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

              Finish the Dish: Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Spoon over any remaining sauce from the skillet.

                Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious meal!
