Ingredients

2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 large eggs

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup whole milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.

Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture. Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour into Bundt Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the top.

Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the cake starts to brown too quickly, cover with aluminum foil.

Cool: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and adjust the consistency if needed.

Glaze the Cake: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake. Let it set for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
