Air Fryer Brownies Dessert Crispy Easy Fast Healthy

Air Fryer Brownies Dessert Crispy Easy Fast Healthy

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Diet: Vegetarian, Healthy, Low-Carb Option

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup oat flour (or almond flour for a low-carb option)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 large eggs (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil (or unsweetened applesauce for a lower-fat version)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your air fryer to 330°F (165°C) for about 3 minutes. While it warms up, find a small baking pan or a silicone mold that fits comfortably inside your air fryer basket. Grease the pan lightly with coconut oil or line it with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang on the sides for easy removal later. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and well-combined. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ones until just combined—be careful not to overmix, as this can make the brownies tough.
  2. Fold in half of the dark chocolate chips into the batter. Pour the batter into your prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the surface. Place the pan into the air fryer basket. Slide the basket in and cook for 15 minutes. Check the brownies at the 12-minute mark; because air fryers vary in intensity, yours might be done sooner. You are looking for a set top that looks slightly cracked and crispy. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs attached, but not wet batter.
  3. Once the timer goes off, carefully remove the pan from the air fryer using oven mitts or tongs. This is the hardest part: let the brownies cool completely in the pan for at least 10 to 15 minutes. This cooling period allows the center to fully set into a fudgy consistency. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the brownie block out of the pan. Slice into 9 even squares. Serve them warm for a gooey experience or chilled for a denser, more “candy-bar” like texture.
