Air Fryer Cottage Cheese Breakfast High Protein Easy 20g+

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Diet: Low-Carb, High-Protein

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup low-fat or full-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes or fresh chives for garnish
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Start by selecting a small, air-fryer-safe ramekin or a silicone baking mold that fits comfortably inside your air fryer basket. Lightly coat the inside of the dish with non-stick cooking spray to ensure easy removal. In a small mixing bowl, crack the two eggs and whisk them lightly. Add the cottage cheese, shredded cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and the cottage cheese is evenly distributed throughout the eggs.
  2. Pour the mixture into the prepared ramekin. Place the ramekin into the air fryer basket. Set your air fryer to 330°F (165°C). Cook for 12 to 15 minutes. Check the progress at the 10-minute mark; the center should be set and the top should be golden brown. If the mixture still wobbles significantly in the middle, add another 2 to 3 minutes. The air fryer circulates heat rapidly, so the edges will puff up beautifully while the center stays creamy.
  3. Carefully remove the ramekin from the air fryer using oven mitts or tongs, as it will be very hot. Let the dish rest for about 2 minutes to allow the structure to firm up. Garnish with fresh chives, red pepper flakes, or a dollop of Greek yogurt if desired. You can eat it straight from the ramekin or slide a knife around the edges to pop it onto a plate. serve immediately while warm and fluffy.
