Ingredients
Scale
- 2 thick-cut Ribeye or Sirloin steaks (room temperature)
- 1 lb Chicken wings (flats and drumettes)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil or Avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon Smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- Kosher salt and cracked black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter (for the steak)
- For Dessert: 4 pre-made chocolate lava cakes or donut holes
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by patting your steaks and chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. Moisture is the enemy of crispiness. In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the olive oil over the steaks and wings, then coat them generously with the seasoning blend. Let the meat sit for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the chicken wings in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Air fry the wings for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until they are golden and crispy. Remove the wings and set aside. Next, place the steaks in the basket. Cook at 400°F for 8-12 minutes depending on your desired doneness (flip halfway through). For the dessert, lower the heat to 350°F and warm your lava cakes or donuts for 3-5 minutes until the center is gooey or the exterior is toasted.
- Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing to keep the juices inside. Place a small pat of butter on top of the warm steak. Arrange the crispy wings next to the steak slices on a large platter. Serve immediately while hot. Follow up the meal with your warm, golden air-fried desserts for a complete restaurant experience at home.
