Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs Chicken Wings (or Cauliflower florets for a veggie option)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preparation: Start by patting your chicken wings or vegetables completely dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture is the secret to achieving that “Golden” crispy texture. In a large mixing bowl, toss your ingredients with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until everything is evenly coated. Let the ingredients sit for five minutes to allow the spices to penetrate.
- Cooking: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes. Place the seasoned items into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding the basket, as air needs to circulate freely to create a crispy finish. Cook for 20 minutes, pausing halfway through to shake the basket or flip the pieces with tongs. This ensures an even, golden-brown color on all sides.
- Plating: Once the timer goes off and the items are sizzling, remove them carefully from the basket. Let them rest for two minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately while they are at peak crispness with your favorite healthy dipping sauce on the side.
- Cook Time: 30 minutes
