Air Fryer Salmon Bites Dinner Crispy Easy Fast Healthy

Air Fryer Salmon Bites Dinner Crispy Easy Fast Healthy

  • Total Time: 18 minutes
  • Diet: Healthy, High-Protein, Low-Carb

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Fresh salmon fillets (skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Moisture is the enemy of crispiness, so ensure they are as dry as possible. Use a sharp knife to remove the skin if you bought fillets with skin on. Cut the salmon into uniform 1-inch cubes. This ensures that every piece cooks at the same rate and reaches the perfect internal temperature simultaneously.
  2. Place the salmon cubes into a medium mixing bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil and toss gently to coat. In a small ramekin, whisk together the garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle the spice blend over the salmon and toss again until each cube is evenly coated in the seasoning. For the best flavor, let the seasoned salmon sit for 5 minutes while you preheat your air fryer.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil or use a perforated parchment liner. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer, making sure they do not touch or overlap. This allows the hot air to circulate freely around each piece. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes. At the 4-minute mark, gently shake the basket to flip the pieces. The salmon is done when it is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Carefully remove the salmon bites from the air fryer basket using tongs. Garnish immediately with freshly chopped parsley to add a pop of color and freshness. Squeeze a fresh lemon wedge over the top to brighten the flavors. Serve immediately while the exterior is at its crispiest.
