Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs Sirloin steak or Ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
- Optional: Your favorite dipping sauce (Buffalo, Ranch, or BBQ)
Instructions
- Start by patting the beef cubes completely dry with a paper towel. This is the most important step for ensuring a crispy exterior. Place the beef in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly. In a small ramekin, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the beef and toss again until every piece is well-coated. While the beef marinates for a few minutes, preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned beef cubes into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; if necessary, cook in two batches to ensure proper air circulation. Slide the basket in and cook at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, remove the basket and give it a good shake to flip the beef pieces. This ensures they get golden and crispy on all sides. For medium-rare, aim for 7-8 minutes; for medium-well, go for the full 10 minutes.
- Once the beef is golden-brown and crispy, remove it from the air fryer immediately to prevent overcooking. Transfer the beef bites to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces. These are fantastic as a standalone snack, served alongside crispy wings, or paired with a fresh salad for a complete healthy dinner.
