Dump & Bake Slow Cooker Sausage And Potatoes 3 Ingredient

Dump & Bake Slow Cooker Sausage And Potatoes 3 Ingredient

  • Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs Smoked Sausage (Kielbasa or Andouille), sliced into rounds
  • 3 lbs Baby Potatoes (red or yellow), halved or quartered
  • 1 bottle (16 oz) Zesty Italian Dressing

Instructions

  1. Start by washing your potatoes thoroughly under cold water. If you are using baby potatoes, simply cut them in half; for larger potatoes, cut them into bite-sized chunks about one inch thick. Slice your smoked sausage into rounds roughly half an inch thick. Grease the inside of your slow cooker with a light coating of non-stick spray to make cleanup even easier later on.
  2. Place the cut potatoes and sliced sausage directly into the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the entire bottle of zesty Italian dressing over the mixture. Use a large spoon or spatula to toss everything together until every piece of potato and sausage is well-coated in the dressing. The dressing acts as your oil, acid, and seasoning all in one bottle.
  3. Place the lid on the slow cooker and ensure it is sealed tightly. Cook on High for 3 to 4 hours or on Low for 7 to 8 hours. You will know it is done when the potatoes are fork-tender and have soaked up the flavors of the dressing and the sausage fats. Give it one final stir before serving to redistribute the juices.
  4. Spoon generous helpings of the sausage and potatoes into shallow bowls or onto plates. Ensure each serving gets plenty of the savory sauce from the bottom of the pot. You can garnish with a bit of fresh parsley or a sprinkle of black pepper if you want to add a touch of color, but it is perfect exactly as it is.
