High Protein Breakfast Bowls Blueberry 20g+ Easy Beautiful Delicious Ready Minutes Overnight Oats

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Diet: High Protein, Gluten-Free

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 scoop (approx. 30g) Vanilla Whey or Plant-Based Protein Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Non-fat Greek Yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Extra blueberries and hemp seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preparation In a medium-sized glass jar or breakfast bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir these together with a spoon to ensure the protein powder is evenly distributed and doesn’t clump when you add the liquid. This foundational step ensures a smooth, consistent texture throughout the entire bowl.
  2. Step 2: Mixing Pour in the Greek yogurt and the almond milk. If you prefer a slightly sweeter taste, add your honey or maple syrup now. Use a spoon or a small whisk to stir the mixture vigorously until all the dry patches of protein powder disappear. Once the base is creamy, gently fold in the blueberries. If you are using frozen berries, they might bleed a little color into the oats, creating a beautiful marbled purple effect.
  3. Step 3: Setting and Plating Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, though overnight is best. During this time, the oats and chia seeds soak up the liquid, creating a thick, pudding-like consistency. When you are ready to eat, give the bowl one last stir. Top with a handful of fresh blueberries, a sprinkle of hemp seeds, or even a drizzle of almond butter for extra texture and visual appeal.
