High Protein Breakfast Bowls Strawberry 20g+ Easy Beautiful Delicious Ready Minutes Overnight Oats

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Diet: Gluten-Free, Vegetarian

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (old fashioned)
  • 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • A splash of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl or a wide-mouth mason jar, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and protein powder. Whisk them together briefly to ensure the protein powder doesn’t clump. Pour in the almond milk, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until the mixture is smooth and the yogurt is fully integrated with the oats.
  2. Gently fold in half of your sliced strawberries. Press them down slightly so they release some of their natural juices into the oat mixture overnight. If you prefer a sweeter bowl, drizzle your honey or maple syrup in at this stage and give it one final stir.
  3. Seal the container with a lid or plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, though overnight is best for the creamiest texture. In the morning, remove the lid and top the bowl with the remaining fresh strawberries and any extra toppings you desire, such as a sprinkle of hemp seeds or a few almond slivers.
