High Protein Smoothie Breakfast 30g+ Easy Low Carb Meal Prep Cottage Cheese

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Diet: Low-Carb, Keto-friendly

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Low-fat or 2% Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (or liquid of choice)
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Strawberries or Raspberries
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Whey or Casein Protein Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Optional: A squeeze of liquid Stevia or Monk Fruit for extra sweetness
  • Ice cubes (optional, for thickness)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and a high-speed blender. Measure out the cottage cheese and almond milk first. Adding the liquid and soft ingredients to the bottom of the blender helps the blades spin more freely and ensures a smoother consistency without any lumps.
  2. Add the frozen berries, protein powder, chia seeds, and vanilla extract into the blender jar. Secure the lid tightly. Start the blender on a low speed and gradually increase to high. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds until the cottage cheese curds completely disappear and the mixture looks velvety and pink.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a large glass or a travel mason jar. If the mixture is too thick, add an extra splash of almond milk and pulse again. Top with a few fresh berries or a sprinkle of hemp hearts if desired. Drink immediately or seal the jar and store it in the fridge for a grab-and-go meal later.
