High Protein Turkey Meal Prep 30g+ Easy Low Carb Cottage Cheese

High Protein Turkey Meal Prep 30g+ Easy Low Carb Cottage Cheese

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Diet: Keto, Low-Carb, High-Protein

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs Lean Ground Turkey (93% lean is best)
  • 1 cup Low-Fat Cottage Cheese (blended for a smoother sauce)
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach or chopped Zucchini
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional for heat)
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Aromatics and Greens Start by mincing your fresh garlic and chopping any vegetables you choose to include, such as zucchini or bell peppers. If you prefer a completely smooth sauce, place your cottage cheese in a small blender or food processor and pulse until it reaches a silky consistency. Set this aside for later.
  2. Step 2: Brown the Ground Turkey Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey to the pan, breaking it up with a wooden spoon or spatula. Season the meat with salt, pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook the turkey until it is fully browned and no pink remains, which usually takes about 7 to 9 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Integrate the Vegetables and Creamy Base Lower the heat to medium. Toss in your garlic and spinach (or other low-carb veggies). Stir frequently until the spinach has wilted and the garlic is fragrant. Pour in the blended cottage cheese and the shredded parmesan. Stir everything together until the cheese melts and creates a thick, creamy coating over the turkey. Remove the skillet from the heat immediately to prevent the cottage cheese from separating.
  4. Step 4: Portion and Store Divide the mixture evenly into four meal-prep containers. Allow the food to cool slightly before snapping on the lids. You can enjoy one portion immediately and store the rest in the refrigerator for a quick and easy grab-and-go lunch throughout the week.
