Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte With Maple Syrup Healthy Fall

Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte With Maple Syrup Healthy Fall

  • Total Time: 7 minutes
  • Diet: Healthy, Vegetarian, Vegan-friendly

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 2 shots of espresso, cooled
  • 1 cup milk of choice (unsweetened almond, oat, or dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: A pinch of cinnamon for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Create the Pumpkin Base. In a small bowl or a glass measuring cup, whisk together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. If your pumpkin puree is cold from the fridge, you can microwave this mixture for 15-20 seconds to help the spices and syrup meld smoothly into the puree. Whisk until the texture is uniform and there are no clumps of pumpkin remaining.
  2. Step 2: Combine with Coffee and Milk. Pour your brewed coffee or espresso shots into a large glass or a mason jar. Add the pumpkin spice mixture to the coffee and stir vigorously until fully incorporated. Pour in your chosen milk. If you prefer a frothier latte, you can combine the coffee, pumpkin mixture, and milk in a blender or a cocktail shaker and pulse or shake for 10 seconds before adding the ice.
  3. Step 3: Assemble and Serve. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the pumpkin coffee mixture over the ice. Give it a final gentle stir to ensure everything is chilled through. Top with an extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon. Serve immediately with a reusable straw and enjoy your healthy taste of autumn.
