Little Debbie Christmas Tree Strawberry Dump Cake Easy 3 Ingredient Feed Crowd Holiday

  • Total Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (21 oz each) Strawberry Pie Filling
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) White or Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 1 box (5 count) Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (Vanilla or Strawberry variety)
  • 3/4 cup Unsalted Butter, thinly sliced into squares
  • Optional: Red and green festive sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take a 9×13 inch baking dish and lightly spray it with non-stick cooking spray to ensure easy serving later. Open your cans of strawberry pie filling and pour them directly into the bottom of the dish. Use a spatula to spread the berries evenly across the entire surface. This creates the juicy, fruity foundation for your dump cake.
  2. Sprinkle the dry white cake mix evenly over the top of the strawberry filling. Do not stir the mixture; you want the cake mix to sit right on top of the fruit. Next, take your thinly sliced butter squares and place them in rows across the top of the cake mix. Try to cover as much of the dry powder as possible. This butter will melt down into the mix during baking, creating a golden, cobbler-like crust.
  3. Unwrap your Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes. You can either chop them into bite-sized pieces or slice them horizontally to lay them across the top of the cake mix. Arrange them decoratively on top of the butter layer. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. The edges should be bubbling, and the cake mix should turn a beautiful golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes to set before serving warm.
