Make Ahead High Protein Overnight Oats 5 Minute No Cook Weight Loss

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Diet: High-Protein, Gluten-Free, Vegetarian

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (ensure certified gluten-free if necessary)
  • 1 scoop (approx. 30g) vanilla or chocolate whey or plant-based protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup non-fat Greek yogurt (plain)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Optional: Stevia or maple syrup to taste
  • Fresh berries or sliced almonds for topping

Instructions

  1. Grab a 16-ounce mason jar or a medium-sized bowl with a lid. Pour in the rolled oats, your choice of protein powder, chia seeds, and a tiny pinch of salt. Use a spoon to whisk these dry components together thoroughly. Breaking up any clumps of protein powder now ensures a smooth, creamy texture later.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, unsweetened milk, and vanilla extract into the jar. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add your chosen sweetener now. Stir the mixture vigorously until all the oats are submerged and the protein powder is fully integrated. Make sure you scrape the bottom corners of the jar to prevent dry pockets.
  3. Seal the jar tightly with its lid. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, though overnight is best for the creamiest results. During this time, the oats and chia seeds soak up the liquid, creating a pudding-like consistency. In the morning, give it a quick stir, add your favorite fresh toppings, and enjoy your meal immediately.
