No Bake Tiramisu Dessert Easy 3 Ingredient No Bake Zero Heat

No Bake Tiramisu Dessert Easy 3 Ingredient No Bake Zero Heat

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Diet: Vegetarian, Egg-Free

Ingredients

  • Ladyfinger Cookies (Savoiardi): Approximately 24-30 cookies.
  • Strong Coffee or Espresso: 1.5 cups, chilled.
  • Mascarpone Cheese: 16 ounces (2 cups).

Instructions

  1. Start by pouring your chilled strong coffee or espresso into a shallow bowl. Make sure the bowl is wide enough to fit a ladyfinger cookie comfortably. If you prefer a sweeter profile, you can stir a teaspoon of sugar into the coffee, but for a true 3-ingredient experience, the natural bitterness of the coffee balances the rich cream perfectly. Ensure the coffee is completely cold to prevent the cookies from turning into mush instantly.
  2. Open your mascarpone cheese and place it in a medium mixing bowl. Use a spatula or a whisk to soften the cheese until it is smooth and spreadable. Since we are keeping this simple, we are using the mascarpone as the primary filling. Its natural sweetness and high fat content provide all the luxury you need. Whisk it vigorously for about a minute to lighten the texture slightly before you begin the assembly process.
  3. Take a ladyfinger cookie and dip it quickly into the coffee. You only want to submerge it for about one second per side; do not let it soak, or the dessert will become watery. Arrange the dipped cookies in a single layer at the bottom of an 8×8 inch glass dish. Once the bottom is covered, spread half of the mascarpone cheese evenly over the cookies. Repeat the process with a second layer of dipped ladyfingers and finish with a final smooth layer of mascarpone on top.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. This “zero heat” dessert needs time for the ladyfingers to soften into a cake-like consistency. Let it chill for at least 4 hours, though overnight is highly recommended for the best results. This resting period allows the coffee to migrate into the cream, creating a unified flavor profile.
