Overnight Oats Recipes Strawberry High Protein Easy Beautiful Delicious Ready Minutes Breakfast Bowls

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Diet: High-Protein, Vegetarian

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey or plant-based protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup non-fat Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Combine Dry Ingredients: Find a mason jar or a small glass bowl with a lid. Add the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt. Use a spoon or whisk to mix these dry components thoroughly. Ensuring the protein powder is well-distributed now prevents clumps later when you add the liquid.
  2. Step 2: Incorporate Wet Ingredients: Pour the almond milk, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract into the jar. If you prefer a sweeter bowl, add your maple syrup or honey at this stage. Stir the mixture vigorously until all the dry oats are fully submerged and the protein powder has dissolved into a smooth, creamy base.
  3. Step 3: Add Fruit and Chill: Gently fold in half of the diced strawberries. Place the remaining strawberries on top of the mixture to create a beautiful presentation. Secure the lid tightly and place the jar in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, though overnight is best. In the morning, give it a quick stir, add a splash of extra milk if you like it thinner, and enjoy your delicious breakfast bowl.
