Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups Cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
- 2 cups Orange juice (pulp-free), chilled
- 1 liter Ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, chilled
- 2 cups Sparkling apple cider, chilled
- 1 cup Fresh or frozen cranberries (for garnish)
- 1 Large orange, thinly sliced into rounds
- Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional garnish)
- Ice cubes or a large ice ring
Instructions
- Step 1: Chill the Ingredients For the best results, ensure all your liquid ingredients are thoroughly chilled in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before mixing. Using cold liquids prevents the ice from melting too quickly, which keeps your punch from becoming watered down during the party. If you are using a punch bowl, place it in the fridge as well to get it nice and frosty.
- Step 2: Combine and Stir In a large punch bowl or a 1-gallon glass pitcher, pour in the chilled cranberry juice, orange juice, and sparkling apple cider. Use a long-handled spoon to stir them gently together. Just before your guests arrive, slowly pour in the ginger ale or lemon-lime soda. Stir very gently once or twice to mix without losing the carbonation; you want those festive bubbles to last!
- Step 3: Garnish and Serve Add the ice cubes or a prepared ice ring to the bowl. Scatter the fresh cranberries and orange slices across the surface of the punch. For a truly “cozy” holiday look, tuck a few sprigs of fresh rosemary between the orange slices to mimic the look of evergreen branches. Ladle the punch into glasses, making sure each guest gets a few cranberries and an orange slice for a beautiful presentation.
