Party Punch Gingerbread Easy Kids Adults Holiday Cozy Drink

Party Punch Gingerbread Easy Kids Adults Holiday Cozy Drink

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Diet: Vegetarian, Non-Alcoholic

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 quarts ginger ale, chilled
  • 4 cups apple cider, chilled
  • 1/2 cup gingerbread syrup (or 1/4 cup molasses mixed with 1/4 cup simple syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks for stirring
  • Whipped cream and crushed gingerbread cookies (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together the apple cider, gingerbread syrup, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and ground cloves. Ensure the spices are well-incorporated into the liquid so you don’t end up with spice clumps in your punch bowl. If you are using molasses instead of syrup, whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth and dark.
  2. Pour the spiced cider mixture into a large punch bowl or a glass beverage dispenser. Slowly pour in the chilled ginger ale. Pour at an angle to preserve as much carbonation as possible. Give the mixture one or two gentle stirs with a long-handled spoon to combine the flavors without losing the bubbles.
  3. Float the orange slices and fresh cranberries on top of the punch for a beautiful festive look. To serve, ladle the punch into glasses. If you want an extra indulgent “cozy” version, top each glass with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed gingerbread cookies. Stick a cinnamon stick in each glass for a fragrant stirring tool.
