Ingredients
Scale
- 64 oz Apple Cider (unsweetened)
- 32 oz Cranberry Juice (100% juice blend)
- 2 cups Orange Juice (no pulp)
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 teaspoon Whole Cloves
- 2 Star Anise
- 1 Orange, thinly sliced into rounds
- 1 cup Fresh Cranberries (for garnish)
- Optional: Rosemary sprigs for a festive touch
Instructions
- Step 1: Combine the Liquids
Grab your large slow cooker or a heavy-bottomed stockpot. Pour in the apple cider, cranberry juice, and orange juice. If you prefer a sweeter punch, whisk in the brown sugar until it dissolves completely into the liquid mixture. Give it a gentle stir to ensure the flavors are well-distributed. - Step 2: Infuse the Aromatics
Add the cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and star anise directly into the liquid. Drop in the fresh orange slices and half of the fresh cranberries. Set your slow cooker to “Low” for 2 to 3 hours, or if using a stovetop, bring the mixture to a very low simmer over medium-low heat. Avoid letting it reach a rolling boil, as this can make the fruit juices taste bitter. - Step 3: Garnish and Serve
Once the punch is fragrant and hot, ladle it into heat-safe mugs or clear glass Irish coffee mugs. Ensure each glass gets a few fresh cranberries and an orange slice for a beautiful presentation. For an extra festive look, tuck a fresh sprig of rosemary into each glass before serving to your guests.
