Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 2 shots of espresso (chilled)
- 1/2 cup whole milk (or oat milk for extra creaminess)
- 2 large scoops premium vanilla ice cream
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Whipped cream and extra pumpkin spice for garnish
Instructions
- Start by brewing your coffee or espresso. To prevent the ice from melting too quickly, let the coffee cool to room temperature or chill it in the refrigerator for a few minutes. Gather your pumpkin puree, spices, and ice cream so everything is ready to go. Measure out your milk and have your blender clean and assembled.
- Place the chilled coffee, milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla ice cream into the blender canister. Add the ice cubes last. Secure the lid tightly and blend on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds. You want to process the mixture until the ice is completely pulverized and the drink reaches a smooth, frothy, and thick consistency.
- Pour the blended frappe into a tall chilled glass. Immediately top the drink with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Sprinkle a pinch of pumpkin pie spice over the top for aroma and visual appeal. Add a straw and serve immediately while the frappe is frosty and firm.
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
