Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pack (100g) unsweetened frozen acai puree (slightly thawed)
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 large frozen banana (sliced before freezing)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut water)
- 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional for extra creaminess)
- 1/2 cup gluten-free granola
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- A drizzle of raw honey or agave nectar
Instructions
- Gather all your frozen fruits and liquid. Run the sealed acai packet under warm water for 5 seconds just to loosen the edges, then break it into chunks. Ensure your banana is completely frozen, as this is the secret to the thick, creamy texture that makes this recipe viral-worthy.
- Place the frozen acai chunks, frozen banana slices, frozen blueberries, and almond butter into a high-speed blender. Pour in the almond milk, starting with just a small amount. Use the blender’s tamper tool to push the frozen fruit down into the blades. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to medium, until the mixture is completely smooth and resembles soft-serve ice cream. Avoid adding extra liquid unless the blender completely stalls.
- Scoop the thick purple mixture into a chilled bowl. Use the back of a spoon to smooth out the surface. Arrange the granola in a neat line on one side. Layer the sliced strawberries and fresh blueberries next to the granola. Sprinkle the chia seeds over the top and finish with a light drizzle of honey for a touch of natural sweetness. Serve immediately before it begins to melt.
