Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella)

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts

Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy and smooth.

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing well until fully incorporated.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Gently fold in the chocolate hazelnut spread, chocolate chips, and chopped hazelnuts, being careful not to overmix.

Pour the cookie dough into a 10-inch cast iron skillet or a similar oven-safe pan, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top for an extra flavor kick.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Optionally, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
