Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 2 lemons

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined.

Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Thread shrimp onto skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.

Place skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are opaque and cooked through.

Remove skewers from the grill and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour (including marinating) | Servings: 4
