Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups carrots peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon honey adds sweetness
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder for flavor
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme dried or fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika for a smoky flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the carrot sticks with olive oil, honey, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and paprika.
  • Toss the carrots well until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
  • Place the seasoned carrot sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook the carrots in the air fryer for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Once the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized, remove them from the air fryer and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, choose fresh, firm carrots. You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispness.
