Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar optional for extra sweetness
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract pure vanilla extract recommended
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda for leavening
  • 1 teaspoon salt to enhance flavor
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or your favorite chocolate variety

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the sifted flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie. Air fry in batches for about 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden.

Notes

Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For softer cookies, slightly underbake them and let them sit for a few minutes before transferring to the rack.
