Ingredients

  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
  • 0.5 lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
  • Add the grated parmesan cheese to the mixture and toss again to ensure the cheese adheres to the Brussels sprouts.
  • Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
  • Air fry the Brussels sprouts for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • After 15 minutes, check for desired crispiness. If needed, air fry for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Once cooked, remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer and drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, you can broil the Brussels sprouts for 1-2 minutes after air frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
