Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh green beans trimmed and washed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder for flavor
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese grated, optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the fresh green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the green beans are evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer for even cooking.
  • Cook the green beans in the air fryer for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crisping.
  • After 10 minutes, check the green beans for tenderness and crispness. If you prefer them crispier, continue to air fry for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Once done, remove the green beans from the air fryer and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use fresh green beans. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
