Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces bone-in chicken thighs skin on for extra flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for marinating
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice about 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic about 3 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika for color and flavor

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade and shake off any excess. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side up.
  • Cook the chicken thighs in the air fryer for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Check the internal temperature of the chicken; it should reach at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) for safe consumption.

Notes

Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
