Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup peanut butter smooth or crunchy, as per preference
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar for sweetness
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar for moisture and flavor
  • 1 large egg binds the ingredients together
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract adds flavor
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda helps cookies rise
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt enhances flavor
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips optional, for added sweetness

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Mix the ingredients together until well combined and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  • If using, fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a piece of parchment paper, then flatten them slightly with a fork.
  • Place the cookies in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them, and air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Let cookies cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
