4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 medium apple (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), peeled and chopped

4 oz Brie cheese, rinds removed and cut into small pieces

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (toasting optional)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)

Kitchen twine or toothpicks, for securing chicken

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped apple, Brie cheese, walnuts, and parsley. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, mixing gently until well combined.

    Prep the Chicken: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using a sharp knife, create a pocket in each chicken breast by slicing horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.

      Stuff the Chicken: Generously fill each chicken breast pocket with the apple and Brie mixture. Use kitchen twine or toothpicks to secure the openings, ensuring the filling stays intact during cooking.

        Season the Chicken: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and additional salt and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the stuffed chicken breasts.

          Sear the Chicken: Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the stuffed chicken breasts and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown.

            Bake the Chicken: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).

              Drizzle with Balsamic (Optional): If using balsamic vinegar, remove the chicken from the oven and drizzle it over the top for added flavor.
