Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1/4 cup caramel sauce (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour. Mix well until the apples are evenly coated.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll Out Dough: On a clean surface, unroll the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Fill the Dough: Place a generous tablespoon of the apple mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. If desired, drizzle a little caramel sauce on top of the apple filling for extra sweetness.

Roll Up: Starting from the wide end, gently roll the crescent triangle all the way up to the point. Make sure to pinch the edges to seal the filling inside.

Apply Egg Wash: Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the apples are tender.

Cool and Serve: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm, preferably with a side of vanilla ice cream or additional caramel sauce for dipping.
