Ingredients

2 lbs pork ribs

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon sesame oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

1 teaspoon five-spice powder

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare the Ribs: Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels and place them on a rimmed baking sheet lined with aluminum foil (for easier cleanup).

Make the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, five-spice powder, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined.

Marinate the Ribs: Pour half of the marinade over the ribs, using your hands to coat them thoroughly. Reserve the remaining marinade for later. Cover the ribs with plastic wrap or foil and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for deeper flavor.

Bake the Ribs: Once marinated, remove the ribs from the refrigerator. Place them bone-side down on the baking sheet. Cover tightly with another layer of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

Glaze the Ribs: After the ribs have baked, remove them from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the reserved marinade generously over the ribs.

Broil for Finish: Preheat the broiler. Place the ribs under the broiler for 5-8 minutes, or until the glaze is bubbling and caramelized. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.

Serve: Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice the ribs between the bones and serve garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 3 hours (plus marinating time) | Servings: 4-6

Enjoy these sticky, savory Asian pork ribs that are perfect for any gathering or family dinner!
