Ingredients

1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)

6 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup fresh broccoli florets (blanched)

4 strips of bacon (cooked crispy and chopped)

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and prick the bottom with a fork to prevent bubbling. Pre-bake the crust for about 10 minutes until it’s lightly golden.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.

Stir in the cooked bacon, blanched broccoli florets, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.

Pour the mixture into the pre-baked pie crust, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the quiche.

Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is nicely golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Garnish with fresh chives if desired and serve warm!
