2 large onions

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

      Prepare the Onions:

        Peel the onions and slice them into thick rings, approximately 1/2 inch wide. Separate the rings carefully, setting aside the smaller inner rings for another use.
