Ingredients
  

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, rolled oats, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped pecans (if using). Stir until well mixed.

      Pour in the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

        Place the peach halves cut side up in a baking dish. Spoon the streusel mixture generously over each peach half.

          Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

            Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the streusel is golden brown.

              Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top if desired!
