6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup.

    In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix well to create a marinade.

      Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring they are coated thoroughly with the marinade. For the best flavor, let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours.

        Place the marinated chicken thighs skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are spaced out to allow even cooking.

          Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) when checked with a meat thermometer.

            For an extra crispy skin, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, but watch closely to avoid burning.
