Ingredients

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup whole milk

1/4 cup birthday cake mix (dry)

1/2 cup whipped cream (for topping)

1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles

1 slice of baked funfetti or vanilla birthday cake (plus extra for garnish)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, birthday cake mix, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.

If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more milk until you reach your desired consistency.

Once blended, add in the slice of birthday cake and pulse a few times until it's incorporated but still has some chunks for texture.

Drizzle some of the rainbow sprinkles inside your serving glass before pouring in the milkshake.

Pour the milkshake into the glass, filling it up about 3/4 of the way full.

Top with generous dollops of whipped cream, and sprinkle additional rainbow sprinkles on top.

Garnish with a small piece of birthday cake on the rim of the glass and add a maraschino cherry if desired.

Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy the delightful, festive flavors!
