Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Cooking spray (for greasing)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it lightly with cooking spray.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Add Blueberries: Gently fold in the fresh blueberries and lemon juice into the cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to crush the blueberries; you want to keep them whole for bursts of flavor.

Roll Out Crescents: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a clean surface.

Fill the Rolls: Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the blueberry cheesecake filling onto the wide end of each triangle.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll up the crescent triangles towards the pointed end. Place them seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush a thin layer over each rolled crescent to give them a beautiful golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown and puffed up.

Cool and Serve: Allow the crescent rolls to cool slightly. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm, and enjoy the delightful blend of blueberry and cheesecake all wrapped up in a flaky crescent!
