Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese (Garlic & Herb flavor)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish (optional)

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Prep the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This will help achieve a nice sear. Season both sides liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Sear the Chops: In a large, heavy skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops to the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until a golden brown crust forms.

Add Boursin Cheese: Lower the heat to medium and spoon the Boursin cheese evenly over the top of each pork chop. Cover the skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt (about 2-3 minutes).

Check for Doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork chops; they should reach 145°F (63°C). If not done, cover and cook for another minute or two.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove from heat, let the chops rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh thyme or parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a burst of freshness.
