Ingredients

1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

3 tbsp olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Marinate the Seafood: In a bowl, toss the shrimp and salmon with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and Cajun seasoning. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Salmon: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Place the salmon skin-side down (if applicable) and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.

Prepare the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and let it reduce for about 2-3 minutes. Next, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and let the sauce thicken slightly. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.

Combine and Serve: Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet with the garlic cream sauce, stirring to coat. Serve the shrimp and salmon on plates, drizzling the garlic cream sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
