Ingredients

2 cups whole milk (or milk of choice)

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

1/4 cup assorted chopped candy bars (e.g., Snickers, Milky Way, Reese’s, etc.)

Whipped cream for topping

Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish

Extra candy pieces for decoration

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream over medium heat. Stir until heated but not boiling.

Add the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt to the saucepan, whisking well to combine and dissolve the dry ingredients completely.

Once everything is well mixed and the hot chocolate is warm, stir in the vanilla extract.

Reduce the heat to low, add the chopped candy bars, and continue to whisk until the candy pieces have melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Taste the hot chocolate and adjust the sweetness or chocolate intensity if needed by adding more sugar or cocoa powder.

Pour the Candy Bar Hot Chocolate into mugs and top generously with whipped cream.

Garnish with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, and extra candy pieces for a fun and festive look.

Serve immediately, and enjoy your delightful Candy Bar Hot Chocolate!
