Ingredients

1 oz. assorted cheeses (cheddar, brie, gouda)

1 oz. cured meats (salami, prosciutto, chorizo)

1 cup cherry tomatoes

1 cup green and black olives

1 cup cucumber, sliced

1 cup bell peppers, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup grapes (red or green)

Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) for garnish

Olive oil for drizzling

Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Wooden skewers (6-inch or larger)

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients: Wash and cut all vegetables and fruits into bite-sized pieces. Ensure cheeses and meats are sliced accordingly.

Skewer Assembly: Take a wooden skewer and start by threading a piece of cucumber at the bottom. Follow with a slice of salami, a cherry tomato, a piece of cheese, and an olive. Repeat the sequence until you reach the top of the skewer, leaving some space for the herbs at the top. Aim for a colorful arrangement for visual appeal.

Create the Tree Shape: Assemble skewers in a tree-like formation on a platter. You can create a triangular arrangement by placing skewers close together at the bottom and fanning them out as you go up, mimicking a tree shape.

Garnish: Once all skewers are assembled, place fresh herbs throughout the platter to simulate foliage. Use rosemary sprigs to represent pine needles for a festive touch.

Add Flavor: Drizzle some olive oil and balsamic glaze over the arranged skewers for added flavor and to enhance presentation.

Serve: Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour before serving to allow flavors to mingle.
