Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, stirring to deglaze the pan and scrape up any brown bits. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add Cream: Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, thyme, and rosemary. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and reduce heat to low, stirring until thickened (about 5 minutes).

Combine: Return the seared chicken to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through and coated with the sauce.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over rice, pasta, or alongside roasted vegetables.
