1 lb ground chicken

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, finely chopped (any color)

1 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 slider buns

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once heated, add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are softened and fragrant.

    Cook the Chicken: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground chicken to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks (about 6-8 minutes).

      Make the Sauce: Once the chicken is cooked through, lower the heat to medium. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, brown sugar, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

        Prepare the Sliders: While the mixture simmers, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Remove the skillet from heat. Split the slider buns in half and lay the bottom halves on a baking sheet. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto each bun.

          Add Cheese: Sprinkle a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese onto each chicken-filled bun, then place the top halves of the buns on.

            Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the buns are slightly toasted and the cheese is melted.
