Ingredients

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed candy canes (plus extra for topping)

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil (or vegetable oil)

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Set aside.

Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.

Add Flavor: Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint extract and salt until fully combined.

Fold in Candy Canes: Gently fold in the crushed candy canes, reserving a few tablespoons for topping. Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

White Chocolate Topping: In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. Drizzle the white chocolate mixture over the fudge and swirl lightly with a knife for a marbled effect.

Final Touch: Sprinkle the reserved crushed candy canes on top for added crunch and festive flair.

Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until set. Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.

Serve: Enjoy your delightful Chocolate Peppermint Fudge as a festive treat or share with friends and family!
