16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup whipped cream

12 lasagna noodles

2 cups peppermint or chocolate chip cookies, crushed

2 cups cherry pie filling (or your favorite fruit topping)

Instructions
 

Cook the Lasagna Noodles: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

    Prepare the Cheesecake Layer: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined and fluffy.

      Assemble the Lasagna: In a 9x13 inch dish, layer the ingredients in the following order:

        - Place 3 lasagna noodles on the bottom.

          - Spread a layer of cheesecake mixture (about 1/3 of the mixture) over the noodles.

            - Sprinkle a generous layer of crushed cookies and some crushed candy canes.

              - Add a layer of cherry pie filling.

                - Repeat the layers two more times, ending with a final layer of cheesecake mixture on top.

                  Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results, allowing the flavors to meld.

                    Serve: Once chilled, slice the cheesecake lasagna into squares. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with whipped cream, mint leaves, and extra crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings for an extra festive presentation.
