Ingredients

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup pecan halves

1 cup Graham cracker crumbs

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup butter (unsalted)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

Optional: Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

Melt Chocolate: In a double boiler or microwave, melt the semisweet chocolate chips until smooth, stirring frequently. If using the microwave, heat in 30-second intervals.

Mix Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, sweetened condensed milk, light brown sugar, and salt. Stir continuously until the butter has melted and the mixture is smooth and bubbling.

Add Pecans and Vanilla: Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, Graham cracker crumbs, and half of the pecan halves. Mix thoroughly until combined.

Layer the Bark: Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula. Next, layer the pecan mixture over the chocolate, spreading it out evenly. Press down gently to ensure it adheres.

Top with Pecan Halves: Scatter the remaining pecan halves on top of the bark and, if desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt for contrast.

Chill and Set: Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until the bark is completely firm.

Cut into Pieces: Once set, lift the bark out of the dish using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares or break into pieces as desired.

Serve and Enjoy: This holiday treat is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
